Building the brand, then everything on top of it

Kurvana came in needing more than assets — they needed a brand system that could hold up across packaging, product photography, social content, and 3D visuals, with guidelines tight enough that future work stays consistent without a redo each time.

That's the difference between a one-off asset drop and a brand system: photography and 3D can sit side by side in the same feed and still feel like one brand, because they're both pulling from the same guideline, not two disconnected production tracks.

The engagement started at the identity level: logo, color, type, and the guidelines that define how the brand behaves across touchpoints. From there, production work — photography, 3D renders, motion, social content — was built to execute against that system rather than invent a new look per deliverable.

Why the guidelines came first

Cannabis brands tend to accumulate visual debt fast — a logo here, a photo style there, a social aesthetic that drifts from the packaging. Locking guidelines before production meant every downstream deliverable, whether shot on camera or rendered in 3D, had the same rules to follow. That's what makes the output read as one brand instead of a pile of assets.

Brand System First

Identity and guidelines were locked before production started, so every deliverable — photography, 3D, social — executes against one set of rules instead of improvising per asset.

Hybrid Production Pipeline

Photography and 3D rendering were used side by side depending on what each shot needed — real product photography where texture and light mattered, 3D where flexibility and iteration speed mattered — unified under the same brand guideline.
